I need to find healthy pie recipes that are low in fat and sugar that does not contain nuts. Even better would be a recipe that is Crones Disease friendly. Any suggests for where to go, or the actual recipe would be appreciated!Healthy Pie Recipes!?
HEALTHIER DUTCH APPLE PIE:
Ingredients for Pie
1 graham cracker crust
1 large egg white, slightly beaten
5 1/2 cups of apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
3 tbsp white whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Preheat the over to 375 degrees.
DIRECTIONS:
Brush the bottom and sides of the graham cracker crust evenly with egg white. Bake for five minutes on baking sheet, until light brown. Remove crust from oven.
Combine sliced apples, lemon juice, sugar, brown sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Mix well and spoon into crust.
Ingredients for Topping
3/4 cup white whole wheat flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 cup of Country Crock with Calcium and Vitamins
Mix ingredients with fork or pastry blender until crumbly. Sprinkle topping mixture evenly over the apples in the crust.

this is delicious: cold pasta with olive oil, little garlic, mussels, morron, onion, salt and pepper you would be satisfied with very little and it does not get fat, is very light, exquisite, of course if you like the seafood!, buena suerte desde Argentina !!!
