I'm looking for a healthy cookie recipe using oatmeal & apples.?

I want my kids to think they're getting a treat but I want it to be a healthy snack.

GORPS (not what you asked for but very good and healthy)





In a bowl, measure


1 陆 c peanuts (roasted and coarsely chopped) (I use 陆 cashews)


1 c sunflower seeds roasted


1 c chocolate or carob chips





In another bowl, measure


1 陆 c dried apricots, cut up fairly small


1 generous cup of raisins





In a 3rd cup measure





3 陆 c whole wheat flour


录 c milk powder (1/3 c instant)


1 t baking powder





In a large mixing bowl (I use a good mixer), mix


1 cup butter - creamed (I use smart balance)


1 陆 C honey - creamed together


1 陆 eggs (I use egg whites)


2 t vanilla


陆 t salt (i mix the last 2 in a measuring cup, and add to bowl





add flour - mixing


add nuts - mixing


add fruit - mixing





drop spoonfulls on ungreased baking pan


bake at 375 12-14 minutes

Apple Oatmeal Cookies





Ingredients-


1/2 cup margarine, softened


1/2 cup honey


1 egg


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


3/4 cup stone ground whole wheat flour


1/2 teaspoon baking soda


3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon


1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats


1 apple, cored and chopped








Preparation-


Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.


In a large bowl, cream together the margarine, honey, egg and vanilla until smooth. Combine the whole wheat flour, baking soda and cinnamon; stir into the creamed mixture. Mix in oats and apple. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.


Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
Just search online for ';oatmeal apple cookies,'; and a ton will come up. You can tell if the recipe is going to be good by looking at the ingredients.
Well cookies can't be healthy as they have oil and butter in it but they can be better then shop made cookies as you say above your making them with oatmeal and apples anyways...





1. take some wheat flour.


2. Put oat meal, eggs, pinch salt, brown sugar according to taste and 2 to 3 table spoons of olive oil(olive oil is good for health) in it.


3. make a dough by adding milk in it.


4. Put the dough in refrigerator bowl covered with foil for about 30 mins.


5. heat the oven on 300 degrees and spread olive oil in a baking tray before putting cookies in it.


6. bake it for 40 mins flip the sides in 20 mins.

Aunt Hazel's Apple Oatmeal Cookies





INGREDIENTS





* 3/4 cup packed brown sugar


* 1/2 cup butter, softened


* 2 cups rolled oats


* 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon


* 1/2 teaspoon salt


* 1/2 cup chopped walnuts


* 2 eggs


* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


* 1 cup all-purpose flour


* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda


* 1 apple - peeled, cored and shredded


* 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar


* 1 tablespoon milk





DIRECTIONS





1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.





2. Mix together brown sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.





3. Beat in eggs and vanilla.





4. Mix in the rest of the ingredients, except for powdered sugar and milk. Stir until well blended.





5. Drop on cookie sheet and bake 9 to 12 minutes.





6. Mix powdered sugar and milk in small bowl and drizzle over cooled cookies.

Oatmeal Apple Cookies





3/4 cup shortening


1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar


1 large egg


1/4 cup milk


1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla


1 cup flour


1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon


1/2 teaspoon salt


1/4 teaspoon baking soda


1/4 teaspoon nutmeg


3 cups quick oats (not instant or old fashioned)


1 cup peeled diced apples


3/4 cup raisins (optional)


3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts (optional)





1. Preheat oven to 375掳 and grease cookie sheet.





2. Combine shortening, sugar, egg, milk and vanilla in large bowl.





3. Beat at medium speed until well blended.





4. Combine flour, cinnamon, salt, soda and nutmeg in a small bowl and mix into creamed mixture at low speed until just blended.





5. Stir in oats, apples, raisins and nuts.





6. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough about 2-inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets.





7. Bake for 13 minutes or until just set.





8. Cool for a minute or 2 on cookie sheets and then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
