Lavendar Cookies are GREAT!
5/8c butter
1/2 c white sugar
1 egg
1T lavender flowers
1 1/2 all purpose flour
optional for decorating:
1/2 c colored sugar
1 T lavender flowers
1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2.) Cream together the butter and sugar.
Beat egg and blend into the butter and sugar.
Mix in the lavender flowers and the flour.
Drop batter by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
3.) Bake 15-20 minutes, or until golden.
Remove cookies to cooling racks, and
sprinkle with decorative sugar and
additional lavender flowers if desired.
OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup raisins
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 deg.
Beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well.
Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix well. Stir in oats, raisins, coconut and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet then remove to wire rack.
I don't really think that there is a good healthy cookie! But you can always subsitude oil for applesauce in cakes makes it a lot more moist because of the apple sauce. I know this is about cookies I just thought I share what I use in cakes instead of oil!
Dear, the first recipe is not bad, but if the cookies will be healthy, then use always not ';white'; flour, but the integral, replace the sugar with brown sugar and honey, do not use margarine, instead of butter and oil...

PREHEAT oven to 375掳F. Mix flour, oats, baking soda and salt in medium bowl; set aside. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating until well blended after each addition. Stir in chocolate chunks and raisins.
DROP heaping tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE 11 to 13 min. or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets 1 min. Cool completely on wire racks.

After cookies are completely cooled, wrap in plastic wrap and place in an airtight plastic container or freezer-weight resealable plastic bag. Freeze up to 1 month. Thaw at room temperature before serving.

Freeze heaping tablespoonfuls of cookie dough on baking sheet 1 hour. Transfer to airtight plastic container or freezer-weight resealable plastic bag. Freeze up to 1 month. Place frozen dough, 2 inches apart, on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375掳F for 15 to 16 min. or until golden brown.
p.s. You could always replace the ingrediants you dont like with other things
